about

Over the years, I've made numerous visits to the Tennyson d'Eyncourt Hall in the beautiful village of Tealby, Lincolnshire. The audiences were always wonderful and, luckily, I captured the first of my concerts there, on a freezing November night, on mini disc. I'm grateful to my friend, John Bunting, for sending me a CD copy that I'd given him, which was used in the preparation this release.

Although simply recorded, this selection captures the magic of that night, with the audience creating the warmest of atmospheres. We all enjoyed each other's company and it's obvious on this recording.

For me, it's refreshing to hear some songs that have slipped from my more recent set-lists and to hear others that have 'grown' since 2004. I hope you will enjoy hearing them, too.
